VOLUNTARY DINING DOLLARS

Parents and students have the option to add Voluntary Dining Dollars to supplement their existing meal plan Munch Money funds. Voluntary Dining Dollars can be used to purchase food at any GGC dining facility on campus, or to bring guests into the Student Center Dining Hall.

The advantage of purchasing Voluntary Dining Dollars is that students do not have to carry cash to purchase food, and parents also have some control over how the money is spent since purchases are limited to food. Additionally, Dining Dollar purchases are considered part of the meal plan and, therefore, are not subject to sales tax.

There are two ways to add money to your Claw Card Account.

  • Visit Student Accounts, located in Building D, room 1147. Payments in cash and / or by credit card are accepted.
  • Use the PHIL Machine located in the B-Building atrium. Just deposit cash to add dining dollars to your card.

Any unused Munch Money funds (money attached to your meal plan) will roll over from fall semester to spring semester. Any remaining Munch Money funds up to $100.00 at the end of spring semester will roll over for use during both summer school sessions. All remaining Munch Money Funds on your account expire the last day of the second session of summer semester finals.

If you need to purchase a meal plan, or if you would like to make a change to the plan you have already selected, simply go to the Student Accounts office in Building D. Students must request a change in their meal plan selection within the first two weeks of the new semester.

Important Info

Policies and Procedures
One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the following procedures:

  • Please bus your tray and disposables from your table when you have finished dining
  • Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area.
  • Remember that Claw Cards are non-transferable.  Claw Cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.

Lost or Stolen Meal Cards
Lost or stolen Claw Cards can be replaced.  Should this happen to you students must first contact Student Accounts who will charge $15.00 for a replacement.  Students must then take the receipt to The Claw Card Office in Bldg A, Room 1850 for the physical card itself.

Special Dietary Needs
Do you have particular dietary needs?  No problem!  Our Campus Dining Services Program can accommodate your special dietary requirements.  For more information, please contact John DePaola, General Manager at john.depaola@ggc.edu
